This statement from Marie really sums up how she feels about her work with horses and people and you know what they say about people who love what they do, they usually do it well! This is the case with Marie for sure; she really takes her work to heart and genuinely cares about both horse and human. Over the past few years Marie has made herself available to teach at clinics which have been a fabulous success for her and the participants.
Marie travels locally and nationally to teach at clinics, it is a passion of hers to work with horses and riders of all levels to develop their skill and build relationships of compassion and respect.
Marie works with instructor/trainer Dawn Fisher on Dallas, a very sensitive individual who becomes very "hot" if she isn't listened to.
EQUINE DRESSAGE WORKSHOP was a great success! The work shop hosts; Tracy Selby, Ingrid Baranski and Sue and Sara Cook, provided a mini Equine Affair feel with professional booths, a well lit arena that was inviting and very well attended.
Marie worked with riders of varying experience, personalizing each lesson to help riders resolve issues blocking progress with their horses. Her over all focus was on the horse being in front of the rider's leg, the use of correct aids by the rider to support better communication, and suppling exercises to improve rhythm and engagement of the horses.
In Boulder Co., Marie helps riders to learn feel in order to allow the horses potential to come through for upper level work.
Marie
provides a methodical approach to the building blocks needed for a sustainable
foundation and progressive development through rider awareness and discipline
of the correct use of rider aids. This
enables the rider to develop a willing partner and move up the training scale.
Marie is a sought after clinician by the dressage community as well as
trainers and students of other disciplines including
eventers, hunter/jumpers
and others.
